Changing ecosystems and the decline of the genus Lophophora
Synopsis:
As climates change and ecosystems shift the face of the land is constantly being reshaped as a direct result. Trout explores where the habitat in which peyote grows came from and raises some questions concerning how and when peyote came to be there.
Bio:
Keeper Trout is a scholar with an interest in ethnobotanical plants. He has authored a short series of books entitled Trout’s Notes and does volunteer work for the Cactus Conservation Institute. Trout’s primary focus of interest presently is cultivating shiitakes and learning more about the fungal world.
