Regulating the irregular: Shaping our right to inebriate our selves

Synopsis:

Even though many of us successfully avoid the constraints of our current drug laws, I suggest that we have many reasons to try to end prohibition. I argue that ending prohibition requires more regulation, not less, and to this end I propose a new schedule that could allow us to inebriate our selves. I hope this proposal will stimulate us all to find and raise our own voices in the drug policy debate.

Bio:

Erik reads a lot, and puzzles about how culture works and doesn’t work, but he is no scholar, let alone scientist, and seldom tests hypotheses.
