What’s the difference between someone who uses a substance and someone who abuses a substance? What’s the difference between getting high and getting wasted?

I am presenting an idea for change an idea, which I would like to initiate with in the DanceWize program and with the help of those involved with EGA and the substance using community. High vs Wasted is a concept that could easily be implemented within the substance using community to reduce the harms associated with recreational substance use. High vs Wasted will be a platform where people can discuss and share their healthy, practical, easy to learn and doable behaviour patterns. Further from this open forum of discussion, we will attach a symbol to this information to make it easy for anyone to remember what they have learned and to be a constant reminder of the user they want to be even while under the influence of their chosen substance.
